Custom screener: build your own screener

Pick your own rules instead of a preset: combine RSI, volume, moving averages, trend, volatility, VWAP, pivot levels, Fibonacci pullbacks and chart patterns, choose whether a symbol must pass all of them or any of them, and sort any column. Pivot type and period and the Fibonacci lookback are settings above the table; pattern rules are 1 for present and 0 for absent, so Bull flag at 1 or more means the pattern is there. Choose a market above the table: crypto and crypto perpetual futures work instantly with no key, while US stocks and CME futures use your own free data key. Save a setup in this browser or copy a link that reopens the same rules.

How to build a screener

  • Add a rule and pick a field, an operator and a number — for example, RSI 14 under 30, volume 2× average or more, or price 5% above the 200-day average. A field's meaning is shown next to each rule.
  • Match all rules narrows to symbols passing every rule; match any rule widens to symbols passing at least one.
  • Try an example above the rules to start from a ready-made combination, then change its numbers to taste.
  • Rules only re-filter the symbols already scanned, so changing a rule is instant. Changing the market, or picking one of your own lists, rescans.
  • Every field used in a rule gets its own column in the table, so you can see why a symbol matched, and sort by it.

One thing still lives on its own page: session VWAP. It needs intraday candles, while this screen scans daily candles, so the VWAP rules here use the rolling 20-day and 50-day VWAP instead. Pattern rules rescan when you add one, because running all the pattern detectors on every scan would be slow; every other rule re-filters instantly.

About this setup

What it is
A screener you define yourself from daily-candle fields: price moves, RSI and other momentum readings, moving-average and trend distances, volume and volatility, rolling VWAP, pivot levels, Fibonacci pullbacks and chart patterns, on crypto, perps, US stocks or CME futures.
How traders use it
Traders start from an idea — an oversold pullback in an uptrend, a volume breakout, a strong trend — turn it into two or three rules, and use the table as a first pass before opening a chart.
Caveats
Each field is a single snapshot from daily candles. A rule passing is a starting point for research, not a signal on its own, and a field that is blank for a market (for example, dollar volume for CME futures) matches no rule.

Frequently asked questions

Can I save or share my screener?

Yes. Save setup keeps the market, rules and sort in this browser, and Copy link copies a link that reopens the same market and rules on any device. The link is in the address bar too, so it updates as you change a rule.

Which markets can it scan?

Four, picked with the Market buttons above the table. Crypto (the default) scans the 250 busiest USDT pairs on Binance. Crypto perps scans the 200 busiest USDT perpetual futures on OKX. Both are free public data and need no key. US stocks scans about 600 US stocks and ETFs with your own free Alpaca key, and CME futures scans about 25 front-month CME Group contracts with your own free Massive key.

Why do stocks and futures need a key?

Stock and futures prices are licensed data, so a website can’t hand them out for free. Alpaca (for stocks) and Massive (for futures) give anyone a free data key. Your key is saved only in your browser and sent only to that provider. See how to get a free Alpaca key and how to get a free Massive key for futures.

Is the data real-time?

Crypto and crypto perps are live from Binance and OKX, on daily candles that start at 00:00 UTC (today’s candle is still forming). Alpaca’s free stock data is 15 minutes behind the market, and Massive’s free futures plan is 8 hours delayed. Turn on auto-refresh next to the results to update the table in place every 30 seconds, minute or 5 minutes.
